For my sister’s wedding on the Sunshine Coast, we were lucky enough to meet a rose farmer and purchased 350 roses directly from the farm for her wedding. With the edition of some contrasting freesias and some eucalyptus foliage, I made bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids and eleven table flower arrangements in low vases. There were even enough roses left over to make five boutonierre/button holes and two small corsages. Great value! One caveat though – I spent close to 12 hours in total creating all the arrangements, learning as I went along.

For our wedding we envisioned having lots of candles scattered around to create a beautiful atmosphere. Upon doing some research we discovered that soy candles don’t only look gorgeous but are all-natural, with the wax coming from a completely renewable source. They also burn cleanly and slowly, making them an eco-friendly choice.
