Jordana and Matthew chose Cotton Tree in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast for their breathtaking wedding. They wanted a beachy, intimate atmosphere in a place where many special memories had already been made. I adore the champagne, pink and white colour palette that they chose for their special day.

Budget Tip: Keep in focus what your special day is truly all about – you and your husband-to-be! Relaxed, happy and genuine moments create the best weddings….. and they’re free.
Eco-friendly Tip: Sand (free from the beach and able to be returned afterwards) was placed in cheap glass vases as a base for candles. Beachy, cheap and romantic.
I wish: that all brides will be as happy as I was on my wedding day.
Something Special: We hired out a restaurant for our wedding and reception. It was the same price as a reception venue but guests had a choice from a menu selection, waiter service for each table, chef-created meals (including crab souffle!!), an intimate restaurant table settings and because we only paid for what people drank we were able to splash out on great wine and beer. Definitely made for a memorable night!
